Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday....we have 5 Thursdays in October, so that means this week is an Anything Goes challenge and we issue our Crazy Egg prize badge for our winner....
I really like Anything Goes challenges as then it's our freedom to pick and choose what we want to show off! I had these pillow boxes made up already in my Halloween stash and thought it was perfect for this week!

Happy Monday :)
It's the last Monday of the month and so over at The Pink Elephant, our theme this week is ANYTHING GOES! I love these as you can do whatever you want! I had this cute Saturated Canary image colored up already from a coloring session with my peep, Tamie, so I decided to go in search of a sketch.
I found this PERFECT one over at The Challenge that my good friend, Lesley Croghan hosts.
You can use both parts of the challenge (sketch and color combo) or just one or the other. I chose to just use the sketch part.
Be sure to come check out what absolutely STUNNING creations the rest of Ella's girls created just for you over at the challenge BLOG. We are so excited to see what you create for our Anything Goes challenge :) Happy crafting!

Hello fellow crafters!
This week over at Sweet Stampin' the challenge is "ANYTHING BUT A CARD."
I made up these Halloween test tube treats a week or more ago and I knew this was the perfect challenge for them :) The test tubes contain Skittles and I stamped the images from my Stampin' Up! set called Batty For You! I cannot wait to send them to my nieces and nephew for "trick or treat" day!
Today it is with a heavy heart that I inform you this is my last post with Sweet Stampin' for a while. I am currently starting the process of heading back into the work force (after being at home with my kids for 17+ years - YIKES!) and I will need to downsize the crafting commitments I have for a while until I get myself into a routine and see how much free time I'm going to have. Sweet Stampin' has been SUCH a wonderful DT to be a part of and I'm looking forward to the day when I can return and play along with them all again - thank you ladies!!! xoxoxo
Be sure to hop on over to the challenge blog and check out what the rest of the super talented Design Team has for you - the creations are mind-blowing! Happy crafting! xoxoxo

This week at 4 Crafty Chicks, it is my turn to play challenge hostess and I'm issuing a color challenge for everyone...CALYPSO CORAL, BLACK and WHITE!
I had Halloween in mind, so I went in search of some images and came across a Bugaboo - Stella has always cracked me up!
Be sure to hop on over to the HEN HOUSE (click HERE) and see what the other Chicks have made for you using my colors! You will NOT be disappointed! You have until Tuesday at midnight to link up your creation for us to admire - ready? GO!!!

This week at The Pink Elephant, Ella's theme is "Trick or Treat" and she is looking for some containers and/or treat holders! FUN!!!
Our daughter was in the city all day on Saturday taking her first session of classes for Driver's Education, so I had the opportunity to browse Michael's for hours! I came across this kit of 9 milk cartons and an extra bonus - they were ON SALE! Cha-ching! So, I snooped around a bit more and found the cute clothespins and spiders and thought they would be perfect for extra decorations....I think they are super cute and I can't wait to fill them with candy corn or skittles etc.
The rest of Ella's girls have made OUTSTANDING treat holders - be sure to hop on over to the challenge blog and check them all out! We would really love to see what you come up with for this challenge - we all like the extra ideas and all the wonderful creations are oh so inspiring! Happy crafting!
Happy "Merry Monday!"
This week, I get to play challenge hostess and I'm looking for some non-traditional Christmas colors on your projects...I typically love reds, greens, gold and silver at Christmas but more and more I'm really loving all these trees that people decorate with funky colors.
I had so much fun coloring up this cute little scene last week while visiting my good friend, Tamie. We got a good girls day in and a few images colored for upcoming challenges. Thanks again, girl! xoxoxo
Be sure to come play along with us this week - you can never start too early making those Christmas cards for your stash! The big day is coming faster than we think ;)
Click HERE to take you over to the Merry Monday blog! Stay tuned for my project for The Pink Elephant - coming up real soon! It's a real "treat!" ;)

This week, it is our lovely LeAnne is our challenge hostess over at Merry Monday Christmas Challenge. "Silent Night" is her favorite Christmas carol, and her theme this week is to create a card evoking the calm, peaceful feeling of a silent night before Christmas!
For my card, I just wanted a solitude Christmas tree and a very CAS design....I always love to sit in front of my tree on Christmas Eve and just take in it's splendor....and that's what this challenge generated for me....

Happy "4 Crafty Chicks" Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is doing well these days....I have been super busy this past week getting stuff ready outside to have our house re-sided! The very large deck we had on the house had to come down - so we disassembled it piece by piece (board by board) and let me just say OH.MY.GOSH. my hands are still sore and I found muscles on my body that haven't been used in YEARS! lol...but, it's all ready for the contractors - they will be here any day to get started. I will blog the process another day - once the new siding/trim is on. The deck will not be put back on for a year or so....but that's ok - one project at a time I've been told ;)
This week, over at 4 Crafty Chicks, our challenge hostess is the beautiful Tina. She's been "cooking up a brew" for us all to use this week - here's her recipe challenge:
- use ONE image
- use TWO pattern papers
- use THREE bling
This cutie is from Lacy Sunshine...these are larger rubber stamps, so I had to make my card a 5.25 x 5.25 this time around....she was a lot of fun to color. The sentiment is from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps....
I hope you get some time to relax and get crafty with us over the Thanksgiving weekend ... be sure to remember all that you are grateful for and enjoy that turkey, scrumptious pies, and bountiful friendships and family. Hugs!!

Happy 4 Crafty Chicks Thursday!!
Our challenge this week is being brought to you by Leanne, but first I'd like to say a huge welcome to Tenia from Jazzy Paper Designs! It's so awesome to have you with us as a Guest Designer for October girl!!! Be sure to hop on over and welcome her and check out her blog - she's one talented chickie!!
For my card, I decided to let the designer paper do the "sunshine" part for me...I had my Puddle Jumper "Bonnie" from byLORi Designs already colored up so just had to put her all together with some rockin' papers and this cute sentiment from Sweet Stamp Shop:
I can't believe that October is already upon us and the air is cool, crisp and fresh. It has that "nip" in the air making you realize that Winter is right around the corner. I have been busy outside trying to get the yard all finalized up for the cold and snow. I am hoping we get a few more weeks of warm temps before it happens!
Be sure to hop on over to the 4 Crafty Chicks blog to see what all the other Chicks have created this week...such amazing projects!! Cheers!

This week at Top Tip Tuesday, our challenge is "Non-Traditional Christmas." We want to see non-traditional colors for Christmas and you can also use non-traditional images if you would like too!
Our sponsor for this challenge is the wonderful Zlatoena's Design:
One lucky winner will win 2 Digi images of winners choice.
I was lucky to be able to color up this wonderful snowman from Zlatoena's Designs and had such fun using pink/purple/black as my combo:
The awesome corner poinsettia die is from Memory Box:
My *tip* for this week is this: "when using small, tiny pieces of paper from die cuts such as this, use tweezers for picking up, handling and placement. It sure makes life a lot easier. I also use a nifty little tool called the QuickStik - works AWESOME!"
Be sure to hop on over to the TTT blog and see what the rest of the crew has for you - their creations are incredible!! You have 2 weeks to play along with us - come get crafty! Cheers!
